Cape Chin Bison Farm

Cape Chin bison farm is owned and operated by Todd, Charlene, and Lillie Dowd. We are located at 94 East Road, R.R. #4 Lion's Head, Ontario, Canada N0H 1W0 (SEE MAP)

Cape Chin is located just north of Lion's Head on the east side of the Bruce Peninsula. Our bison herd was established in 1993 and now numbers over 100 animals. The bison are pastured on over 200 acres and are strictly grass-fed (grass and hay, some mineral supplements, no grains).

We take pride in being one of the few farms that have our meat tested by an SCC accredited lab.

Inquiries for our 100% grass-fed bison meat can be directed to Todd or Charlene by calling (519) 592-5010, or e-mail to capechinbison@amtelecom.net

To ensure meat availability, and to confirm a price, be sure to call first.
Alternatively, Sharon or Larry Dowd may also be contacted at (519) 595-4657.

The herd has wandered and we grab the tractor to ride out to find them.

Herd matriarch patrols around us as we wait for another photo op.
